The mission of The Strength To Overcome is to empower people to become healthy and resilient in Mind, Body and Spirit.
Many topics are covered in the blog as they all contribute to the above mentioned trifecta of strength. However, most will revolve around physical strength training because I believe that it holds the key to developing the skills and attributes necessary to accomplishing this mission.
AUTHOR BIO
Audrey Lane is the founder of The Strength To Overcome. The name, Audrey, means “the strength to overcome,” or “noble strength,” depending on the translation. Since she was a little girl, she was always expressing feats of strength from climbing out of her crib when very young, to throwing elbows with the boys at recess as she grew.
Things have not always been rainbows and butterflies yet Audrey grew stronger and stronger as she faced bullies, anxiety, illness and injury and continues to overcome as her name reflects. Through her perseverance and dedication she discovered coming alongside others and helping them overcome some of the same challenges she has wrestled with throughout her life. As a result she has dedicated her life to teaching others strength and resilience through resistance training, firearms training and basic concepts of self-defense.
