Strength comes in many different forms and begins at any given starting point. Whether you are a yogi, a student of martial arts, a mountain biker or even a parent or grandparent; strength training will compliment your lifestyle and help you perform better at what you love doing. With my systematic approach to strength training I have both improved upon healthy athletes’ performance as well as brought them back to their sport post rehab following an injury. I love bridging that gap for people post physical therapy and helping to put the puzzle pieces back together. Additionally, my experience in helping non-athletes improve their lives and activities through resistance training has been one of my favorite passions as I get to watch them become empowered in many facets of life through realizing a strength they never knew they could attain.
To quote one my favorite strength athletes, Mark Bell, “Strength is never a weakness, and weakness is never a strength.” This simple statement is a mantra for me and for how I approach training my clients. If you want to improve your life or your sport, I recommend strength training and all of the incredible life lessons that you will come across while doing it. I will meet you where you are and you will grow stronger.
What is this going to cost me?
Consistency and frequency are key when it comes to strength training. However, life happens. Some people travel for a living, others need flexibility because they have families, and occasionally even we healthy people get the sniffles. I have many options available to offer flexibility. Try it out for a month and see if it’s working for you. There are single sessions if you simply want a check in type arrangement or month to month plans.
Number of Sessions | Cost |
Single Session | $85 |
4 sessions per month | $340 |
6 sessions per month | $510 |
8 sessions per month | $680 |
12 sessions per month | $1020 |
The first session of a monthly package is complimentary and consultative as it helps me to design a personalized program to gain insight utilizing a movement assessment and an interview to understand your goals and starting point. The consultation session is thirty to forty-five minutes and thereafter, each session is sixty minutes and will be structured for your personal goals and needs. Working to failure and exhaustion is a tool that can be used occasionally for developing mental toughness and discipline if that is part of your goals during an interview, but it is not an appropriate way to structure the building of strength and muscle on a consistent basis. This is to say, do not be intimidated-unless you want to be. Then we can do that.
Fat loss is a by-product of well programmed, consistent training. If this is what you are looking to accomplish, focusing on getting strong is the way to do it.
Nutrition is also a key part of a healthy, strong life. There are 168 hours in a week. The one to three hours your spending per week on exercise is great! But not enough to outrun terrible nutrition, hydration and sleep. I will help to guide you along a healthier path through showing you how to find out what nutrition style your body operates with best rather than prescribing a restrictive eating prescription that was not designed with your needs in mind. You will know based on how you feel and through tracking what nutrition works best for you.
